Thanks for the info about the passing of Gordon Waller. Peter & Gordon were (are still) one of my favorite British invasion acts. They were great interpreters of the song no matter who wrote it & they left a wonderful and "seldom appreciated" catalog of tunes that I still love to sing along with.
I guess Peter & Gordon were not 'hip' because they did not sound like everybody else..to me, that is what made them stand out....
